This wooden cottage is an absolute home from home and bound to be a real favourite! In fact upon visiting this lovely property for the first time, we announced that we’d like to move in!
Conveniently positioned down a quiet lane, it’s just a 10 minute walk from all of Wroxham’s amenities.
Upon entering The Firs, it is light, airy and spacious. And you can’t help but mutter a little ‘wow’! There are two large kingsize bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, a family bathroom and a large open-planned living area with a vaulted and beamed ceiling. The modern, well stocked kitchen opens onto the lounge, which has wonderful views over the garden and water outside. Large bifold doors mean that wherever you are in the living area, you can enjoy the views, and on a beautiful day, where better to sit with a cuppa (or something stronger!) than on the decking or in the garden.
After a day out exploring the Norfolk Broads, you’ll be looking forward to getting home to this lovely cottage and simply relaxing in the beautiful surroundings, both inside and outside. And by the end of your stay, we are sure you’ll feel refreshed and ready to plan your next visit.
There is ramp access to the front door from the parking area (step access in the garden).

We have just spent a lovely week at The Firs with my elderly mother. The wheelchair ramp and level access within the property was great for her.
The deck was a lovely place to read, watch the bird life and boats. It is a very quiet and tranquil setting – ideal for relaxing – although there was a lot to do nearby if you wanted to be more active. The owners supplied life vests so we were able to use their rowing dinghy.
There are plenty of places to eat out in the area ( worth booking for Sunday lunch) so we did not need to cook much but the kitchen was bright and clean, as was all the property.
The owners welcomed us and were keen to make sure we had everything we needed. As has been mentioned before, not all TV channels were available so take your streaming account details.
It was a lovely break and, as my mother said, ‘You couldn’t have chosen a better place.’
