Sleeps 4 + 2 - Dutch Cottage on Ferry Road in Horning is a lovingly updated cottage built in 1934 recently completely renovated throughout. This cottage sits on its own basin just off the main river but still with river views and walking distance from the Ferry Inn pub and just a short walk to the village amenities with the added benefit of views directly through the basin of the main river.

Dutch Cottage is a cute and quirky cottage sat on the water’s edge in the heart of Horning on the Norfolk Broads.
Built in 1934, in the traditional Dutch barn shape that has been completely renovated throughout, it’s light, airy and homely inside and French doors opening out to the garden and the water beyond. Situated in a tranquil location on a basin just off the main River Bure, but with the main river in view, so you can still sit and watch the world go by. There’s plenty of river frontage for fishing (in season), and plenty of garden for soaking up the sunshine and relaxing. Large patio area which is gated also to keep those little one's away from the water.
Just a short walk to all the amenities in Horning, including pubs, cafes, village shops, deli and restaurants. The Broadland town of Wroxham, ‘Capital of the Broads’ is just a 5 minute drive away.
Hire a boat with your cottage to make the most of your stay by exploring the beautiful Norfolk Broads.

Reviews for Dutch Cottage
We arrived to a very cold cottage, no heating had been left on. There was no welcome pack or instructions so we had to fathom out how to switch the heating on. The Wi-Fi code was left on a scrap of paper which took us a while to find, again a welcome pack would have been helpful. The lounge layout did not take advantage of the views which was disappointing, the cottage itself seemed to lack personal touches and we would definitely not recommend for 6 people. On the plus factor it was in a very peaceful waterside location and a good spot for exploring the Broads. It also had ample safe parking.

Our apologies for no welcome pack being left for your booking, we will look into this with our supplier as there certainly should have been one for you. The welcome pack etc is online, an email was sent to you for this and I can see that you logged into this and had access. The wifi code would have also been found in your My Stay Planner login.
Our apologies that the heating was not left on also. Whilst there is not a lot we can do about the layout, we do also state the property is a 4+2 sleeper and you were only a group of 2 people so we hope that the property was plenty big enough for your stay.
