This tardis of a cottage sits on the North East Riverbank of the River Thurne towards Martham. Lots of main river frontage here for fishing and a large shed with fishermans bait fridge. This house is never-ending, when you step inside lots of space for the whole family with a large kitchen in the heart of the house. Perfect for a peaceful relaxing break. Super comfortable inside and a home from home.
There is no vehicle access to this property, there is approximately a 15 min walk to car parking area from the cottage. It’s is plot number 85A.
Walking distance (approx 15 mins) from property to local shop, fish & chip shop and local pub. Great Yarmouth is only 13 miles and the historic city of Norwich 19 miles in the other direction.
Parents please note there is unfenced river frontage here, please be careful with young children. One well behaved pet welcome here. This property has a £1 electricity meter – electricity is not included in your holiday cost.
STRICTLY a no smoking property. Smokers are allowed to smoke outside but not inside the house.
Please note the owners boat is stored in the dyke, however this is not for customers’ use. There is still plenty of main river frontage for fishing and mooring a boat if you hire one.

We stayed at the above cottage & we had a lovely time. The cottage was excellent, couldn’t fault it lots of space,Bigger inside than the pictures.
The river front was excellent for fishing, “Happy Fishermen”
The walk to the Melrose took 15 minutes but we were grateful for the river taxi to take us there & return with all our luggage & fishing gear
We had a wonderful week, a great place to rest relax& enjoy, & the bonus of lovely weather …A super place to stay,
