Sleeps 8 - Riversmead Cottage is one of the oldest cottages in Horning with fabulous views of the river from panoramic windows all along the front of the property.

Riversmead Cottage was completely rebuilt in 2011 on the site of the former Petersfield Cottage, previously one of the oldest cottages in Horning. The owners left no expense spared when they redesigned Riversmead.
Riversmead has expansive windowed frontage that almost overhangs the river and makes you feel that you are literally on the water. Additionally, there is substantial decking which will allow everyone to fish the main river or just relax and enjoy the beautiful views.
A boat shed provides plenty of storage for equipment, plus the possibility to rent a boat to fish or for pleasure cruising.
To the rear of the property is a large lagoon which is a haven for all sorts of wildlife, including otters, and is wonderfully peaceful. And if you weren’t relaxed enough then take advantage of the amazing roll-topped bath.
Riversmead Cottage is a wonderful place to spend your holidays and we know you won’t be disappointed.
Parking for 1 car is available off road, a short walk (85 metres), from parking to property (access permitted through garden of adjacent property). Garden Furniture and BBQ outside
Riversmead allows 1 well behaved pet. All electric & fuel costs included.
Property has unfenced river frontage extra care needs to be taken with children.
STRICTLY a no smoking property. Smokers are allowed to smoke outside but not inside the house. No all male or all female groups.

Riversmead Cottage is a lovely cottage right on the river front. It has well fitted bathrooms and kitchen and great views, the only thing that let it down for us was the living room, which contained an old fashioned dinning room table and chairs covered in a dark brown plastic table cloth that made it feel like you were sitting in a cafe, old dirty stained rugs on the floor and two old sofas my husband and l who are in our 70s were unable to sit on as when you did you sunk so low we couldn’t stand up without help definitely need changing considering how much you have to pay to stay here for a week.
All in all the family enjoyed the fishing and watching the boats go by Horning is a lovely place to visit.
