Fantastic cottage in a wonderful setting, absolutely ideal to watch the world go by. However, cleanliness is its downfall. Obvious cobwebs, dirty tables, floors not hoovered, kettle full of limescale to the point I will not use it! Beds definitely not doubles. Bathrooms need a full deep clean and mould removing! Could be excellent and feel it is such a shame, the property should clean as a standard and I don’t think it is realised how much this impacts your holiday you have waited 2 years for!

We were particularly disappointed to read these comments after your stay, as none of the issues mentioned were reported to us while you were at the property. Had we been made aware, we would have been more than happy to arrange for the housekeeping team to return and address the concerns promptly, including the kettle and bathroom areas.
We do ask guests to let us know of any problems as soon as possible during their holiday so that we have the opportunity to investigate and, wherever possible, put things right. We appreciate how important the standard of accommodation is to the enjoyment of a much-anticipated holiday.
