Reviews for Bluebell Lodge
We had a lovely stay here in Bluebell Cottage its very well equipped and a pleasant setting. It would have been nice to have a welcome pack in the property as you cant get in till 5pm most shops are shut. The other thing is that you have to take your own rubbish to the bins which although is a short walk I really expected this to be part of the booking as there was no bins close by you were allowed to use. The hot water in the taps was not hot enough to be able to wash anything greasy up in, so had to boil kettle which I think is false economy. I also think that the outside decking could do with a little TLC and maybe a couple of sun loungers to relax in to give it a more appealing stay. The area itself is beautiful only downside for us it was a little to far out of Horning for my husband to walk. There are a couple of pubs very close to the Cottage that do good food and very friendly staff, sadly for us like all the pubs in the area you need to be doggy people, they are allowed in the eating areas, this was not our cup of tea and would have preferred to see separate areas for those with dogs to allow a quite meal and drink for others.
Other than a few dislikes the holiday was lovely and relaxing sitting outside watching and feeding the wildlife.
