had willow croft for a week must say what a beautiful cottage perfect location lovely quiet part just off the main river very spacious and extremely well equipped full credit to the owner who we met on our arrival first time we have booked through riverside rentals have alright booked with them again for next year a very well organised company to book with
We just stayed in this wonderful property in Horning on the river Bure. This cottage had everything you needed and set in a beautiful location with the balcony bring my favourite spot. We spent each evening fishing outside on the decked area and used the boat a few times that week to explore the fantastic broads. Norfolk is one of my favourite counties to visit with amazing coastline, fantastic walks with pretty villages and of course the famous broads. We visit here often and will certainly use riverside rentals again.
Recently stayed in this wonderful property. Just off the main river with superb views. Excellently equipped with everything you need. Comfortable beds and well presented. Just a 5 minute walk into Horning. Very quiet location and superb fishing at the property. Had lots of fish and caught my first tench on the broads. The picnic boat was great and out in it most days definitely worth booking. The owners were great and can give you lots of ideas of where to go and what to do. Thoroughly enjoyable week.
Have just spent a glorious week at Willowcroft. The property is well equipped, spacious and clean with well kept gardens to the front and side. Set in a quiey cul-de-sac with great views of the river - especially from the balcony, my favourite spot! We hired the Siesta Picnic Boat which was big enough for the 4 of us. It was lovely to meet the owner, who came on the first morning to go through the boat with us. Having undertaken a boating holiday previously it was fantadtic not having to think about getting somewhere eay to get mooring, hence a couple of lovely evening boat trips 😊 A house on the Broads with a boat - best of both worlds! Thank you Riverside Rentals and Mick!
Just returned from a great weeks stay with the family at Willow Croft in Horning. We have used Riverside Rentals for a lot of years now renting a different property each time (personal choice as always seems like a different holiday and nothing to do with the quality of the properties) and can say that Willow Croft is another Gem in their portfolio.Being set back from the main river meant it was so quiet and just what we needed. The property is well equipped and had everything we needed. Thanks once again and will definitely see you again soon.
Thanks Steve, see you again soon.
Returned home having experienced a wonderful week stay at Willowcroft, Horning. The Cottage is well equipped and in a great location. Pleased to have met the owner (that personal touch is always comforting). Siesta the picnic boat is also a great addition and recommended (we were out on her every day), visiting St Bennet’s Abbey, How Hill Nature Reserve, Wroxham, Salhouse (hired a canoe and walked to the Feathers Brewery),recommend the Nature Reserve opposite Salhouse too it’s a lovely walk. Last day was wonderful taking a trip to Coltishall for lunch at the Rising Sun. Riverside Rentals (Richard) were fantastic to deal with (great communication advising Willowcroft was ready early on arrival day, which gave us a full half day enjoying the Easter Saturday sunshine). When we are not holidaying afloat we will DEFINITELY book through Riverside Rentals.
Our daughter and granddaughters loved the house which also provided an excellent mooring for our 38 foot boat. Our special thanks to the owner who came to remove his dayboat and also moved the rowing boat to make room for our boat.We had a superb peaceful week.As always the service from Riverside Rentals was first class.
Great spot for an amazing week of weather. Lovely property with all we needed and only a short walk to the village. Out on the boat everyday, couldnt have asked for more
Just wanted to say a big thank you for our recent stay in Willow Croft ( 16th June for 7 nights) it was probably the best equipped cottage we have stayed in within the area. And the location and views were unbeatable. We are already considering re booking for later in the year.
Despite appalling weather, the worst we have experienced on Broads holidays stretching back over 50+ years, we had a wonderful time. The property is first class, great position and with 'Siesta' our excellent little cruiser we were able to enjoy much of what the north Broads has to offer. An information folder and map would be useful for newcomers to the Broads.Recommendation enough is the fact that we are considering a return visit this year, to get in quick before this lovely property (new to the brochure) is snapped up on a very frequent basis. The service from Riverside Rentals has been first class as usual.
