Had a great weeks holiday in a well euqipped, well laid out riverside property. There were a few niggling problems found upon our arrival but nothing was too much trouble for the helpful friendly staff of Riverside to sort out.The locals of Potter Heigham seemed to be friendly, always saying hello when we walked past them.Though the river is busy with boat traffic, it is also quiet and relaxing at the same time, and in the evenings was very peaceful.I spent most of the week fishing the river with my son (we caught quite a few fish out the river, mainly Bream, Roach, Perch) whilst my wife and daughters explored Potter Heigham and went for a few walks down the river banks. One day I decided to take the family to Horsey Gap to see the seals (found via Google maps). This involved a bit of a walk along a very nice beach to get to the seals, so the two hours parking that I paid for was not really long enough (something you only really find out from experience). The provision of a shed for guests to use complete with fridge for fishing bait was a pleasant surprise and saved me the trouble of collapsing my rods every evening, as the shed is big enough to fit them in fully rigged.I am already thinking/looking at possibly another holiday in this location next yearDave
Have just returned from our stay in Thurne Waters this property is outstanding,it is spotlessly clean and the decore and furnishings are excellent. You can see that the owners have taken some thought in the layout and decorations. There are even umbrellas available if it rains. I would recommend this property you will not be disappointed. And finally a big thank you to the staff at riverside rentals they were polite and nothing was too much trouble Thank you for a tremendous holiday.
