Shepherd's hut is fantastic. When we arrived there was tea, coffee and snacks waiting for us. A bbq is provided which made our life much easier and it's a gorgeous spot. Location is great too, really good access to the Broads, Norwich and the coast. After a week the bed does become a little uncomfortable but other than that no complaints about the hut. There were a couple of things that could have been improved. Although we were advised to ring ahead before arriving, which we did and it was easy to get into the hut, we were never greeted by any of the owners. A simple welcome would have been nice to answer questions like, "Where are the bins?" and maybe to explain the showers. The showers are coin operated and there was no instruction regarding old and new pound coins. Unfortunately the box swallowed 2 new pound coins and yet never turned the shower on. The toilet blocks were kept clean during the week but didn't seem to be cleaned at the weekend, which was a shame as there were many more people on the campsite.Overall, a good experience.
Had just one night in this lovely shepherds hut. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and has its own fenced in garden which was great for our small dog. Since the weather was glorious we also enjoyed having breakfast outside on the patio on the comfortable patio set. The showers and toilets across the small campsite were spotless, and the location very convenient for the sights of the Broads. We'll be back!
