Lots of pluses about this riverside property. We took our boat with us and sailed 5 days out of 7 despite mixed weather. Lovely to come back to the cosy cottage after getting a bit chilled enjoying the lovely scenery from the river. The chalet has everything you might need (including tea towels despite saying to bring your own!). Soap and shampoo provided which was a nice surprise in the bathroom and the shower works well (always important!). Downside is the loo which doesn't flush well at high tide - give it time ;).The owners live nearby and were there to give us a warm welcome and on hand if anything was needed.I would give it 5 stars but the £1 electric meter is just irritating and pretty hungry if you cook in and need the heating on.On the subject of food, the East Hills Cafe is the one good place to eat nearby but do book and the Ferry Inn is a must and easy to get to by boat.Railway station is really handy to get to Norwich or in the other direction to Great Yarmouth. All in all we had a great week and absolutely loved the Broads.
We had a week booked in June 2019. The weather was pretty atrocious most of the week, persistent rain. That is the chance you take, of course, we accept that. The property is very well situated, with lovely views up and down the river. Internal design is good and user-friendly.The property was clean and nicely presented inside. Chairs and beds were comfortable. All internal facilities worked fine. Several double glazing panels have clearly broken down and should be replaced, they are misty inside the panels.Outside there are rough areas needing attention to smarten the place up, an unfinished-looking small wall by the car parking area, for example, external painting. In 2019 there shouldn’t still be coin slot meters for electricity, given what one pays for hire. Electricity should be included in the hire charge. There is a very good TV set, with a DVD player integrated, and several small radios. There was nothing lacking, in terms of expected facilities. We had a good holiday, given the climactic circumstances.
Many thanks for you review and we are glad you managed to enjoy despite the weather. We will pass your comments onto the owner for perusal.
Hope to see you again soon.

Just got back from a lovely week's stay at the Pinewood. The Cottage overlooks the river with stunning views of the passing boats/ducks/swans. It is excellently maintained, clean, well equipped and spacious. Its walkable to Brundall village and local pub and bistro. If venturing further ideal for touring round the Broads. Would certainly recommend. Buddy (our dog) loved it.

The cottage and location was 10 times better than the photos indicated. it was nice to find the local amenities so close and the local railway station was handy for Norwich and Yarmouth. Good holiday
