Norfolk Celebrations

Norfolk is a rewarding county to explore whatever the occasion but there’s something rather wonderful about choosing to celebrate a special event here; say a birthday, anniversary, or even a wedding. This county is blessed with stunning views, so many wonderful landscapes, and beautiful properties and monuments and when it comes to recognising milestones in life there are few places we’d rather be than Norfolk.

A birthday on the Broads

Whether you’re turning 10 or 50 the Broads is a magical place to spend your birthday; imagine being surrounded by the UK’s largest protected wetland, or boating along a river to see in yet another year. With so much wildlife to discover and habitats to explore, it’s quite possible to lose track of time on the Norfolk Broads and even forgot what day it is.

An anniversary beside the sea

Strolling hand in hand along a pebbly beach as the waves wash over the shingle, or standing atop the cliffs as you both stare into the distance is a great way to spend some quality time together on an anniversary. Norfolk has some of the prettiest coastline going, which is just perfect for that romantic moment’s peace. Once you’ve embraced the moment, why not wander down the promenade at one of the seaside resorts, or take in a show on Cromer’s famous pier?

Nuptials in the garden

If you like the idea of a destination wedding, but the thought of travelling abroad seems too much effort, getting married in Norfolk is a great option; after all, where else will you find such gorgeous properties, or striking gardens in which to enjoy those first few moments post ‘I do’? Norfolk offers a host of wonderful wedding venues for anyone planning a marriage, as well as fantastic accommodation for everybody afterwards. Perfect.
