Situated a few minutes stroll away from the quaint riverside village of Horning, can be found Ludham Quay (with the blue door). After recent upgrading with quality new furniture in 2015. The cottage, with ample parking for 2 cars, is 3 stories high, and contains 3 en-suite bedrooms.
On the first floor is a glass fronted balcony, equipped with table and chairs, and a panoramic view over the River Bure & Marina, and the dozens of boats moored nearby.
Beneath this is a terrace, also with Table and Chairs, which leads on to a jetty, from which fishing is extremely popular. This is also a lovely area on which you can have a barbecue.
Back inside the cottage, on the ground floor is the first of three en-suite bedrooms, this one fitted with a double bed and enjoying a view down the River. The bathroom contains a shower cubicle, wash basin and toilet. Also on the ground floor is a small room which leads to the terrace, and in here is a foldaway bed, should an extra guest need to be accommodated.

Parents beware: the property has an unfenced river front. Please do not leave children unsupervised.

We visited Ludham Quay during the Easter holidays and had a very enjoyable time. The property was spacious and clean and had all the home comforts we needed. The location was also very good and easy to get to local attractions etc. This was our first time in the Broads and we will definitely consider returning!
