Have stayed at Kingfisher for the last 5 years and find the bungalow "excellent" Great location well equipted and spotleslly clean.I would recommend this bungalow to anyone and Riverside Rentals a perfect company to deal with.No problem to small to deal with.We will return
Absolutely delightful cottage. No small detail has been overlooked in making this the ideal cottage for a totally relaxing holiday. Even when we had the storms on 30 April we were so cosy and warm and had plenty of entertainment watching boats attempting to go in/out of Herbert Woods boatyard! I would not hesitate to give it five stars but not allowed to take my beloved greyhound. But, I understand. We did get 'substitutes' however and were able to see otters swimming by, a couple of mute swans who knew when it was breakfast and tea times then in the field behind muntjak deer, hares, barn owls hunting - no shortage of entertainment whatsoever
Just returned from another relaxing week at kingfisher Cottage. This was the fifth time I have stayed there and it never disappoints. Am booking again for later in the year,I think that says it all about this cottage
We as a family have had the most brilliant holiday – inside Kingfisher Cottage at Potter Higham………we could not find one fault and the beds were so comfortable……Thank you ever so much ….we intend to return for two weeks next July !
Stayed in February the cottage was clean and although the electricity was paid for through the meter it didn't cost much to heat. Would recommend will be going again.
Stayed at the kingfisher February 2016, what a lovely cottage, everything you need is there and there is plenty of heating to keep you warm on the chilly evenings / mornings.
Great spot to do fishing or simply hire a boat which we would do next time. Very relaxing just watching the boats go passed and waking up to the lovely swans and ducks. Thank you Kingfisher
Stayed here for a long weekend in October 2015 what a lovely and warm bungalow, lovely place for fishing although maybe a bit early for the big pike! Really liked the accomodation, it was clean, warm and well presented. We had heating on a lot of the time and the electric coin meter was cheap to run, I think this was due to the air con fan unit in kitchen which heated the place up in minutes.
Without being negative, I do think use of a shed would be nice to lock the fishing tackle away when not using, to save bringing it into the house?Just a suggestion.
Great stay, lovely property, exactly what we wanted (except the lack of pike):)
Lovely place, ideal situation and fully equipped. We had a great time here and could not fault anything. Very comfortable and close to all amenities. Wish we had wifi there but the whole of Norfolk is patchy for wifi and it probably did us good not to have it!
Perfect location. Close to Potter Heigham. All cooking implements provided. Instruction on cooker use could be better especially for older gentlemen who are used to gas cookers. However a very good holiday.
What a fantastic little cottage right on the river. I cannot fault this place and if you book you will enjoy. Thank you for a wonderful holiday I will return.
This cottage was perfect for our holiday with my son and his young family. It had everything we needed. The location is excellent and there is lots to see and do in the area, including Bewilderwood, beaches, museums in Yarmouth and Wroxham barns. Boat hire is just nearby. Would recommend.
